M&J can trace its history to 1963 when the patriarch of the group, Mofiz Uddin Talukder, entered the manufacturing business and established Northern Flour Mills Limited in his home district of Sirajganj. His vision was to produce high quality consumer products for the people of Bangladesh at an affordable price. 60 years later, the manufacturing legacy he started still endures as a subsidiary of M&J Group today.

Established in 1965, Northern Flours Ltd produces four solid food products: Atta (Flour), Maida (Flour), Brown Atta (Flour), and Suji (Semolina). Northern Flours Ltd uses modern technology facilities to provide top-quality services to its customers.
